Answer for What are the characteristics of an updraft carburetors

These are fitted below the inlet manifold upside down. In these carburettors air travels from bottom to upside but the mouth of the main nozzle remains on the upper side. There is no acceleration pump in it. Therefore, these are useful for small engines only.
