Answer for What is the function of oil pressure release valve in Forced Lubrication System ?
When speed of the engine increases, the pressure of oil too increase and oil can remain between two parts of the engine for a very very short period. In this situation, proper lubrication is not possible at all. In order to overcome this difficulty oil pressure release valve is provided in the main oil gallery. When there is excess pressure of oil, this valve opens up and oil falls down from the oil gallery and thus the pressure of oil becomes less.
