Answer for What is the function of the hand priming lever fixed in the fuel pump?

If we want to know whether the fuel pump is working or not, we open the pipe from the fuel pump and hand priming lever is moved. By doing so the petrol should come from the outlet passage. If petrol does not come from this passage it means there is some defect in the pump. Besides this, this lever is also used for easy starting.
