इसके प्रयोग से दर्जी की उंगलियों को सुरक्षा मिलती है। यह ऊपरी भाग में खुला तथा बन्द दोनों प्रकार का स्टील, पीतल का बना होता है। इसके ऊपर बिन्दु-बिन्दु उभरे होते हैं जिनके बीच में सुई जाकर अटकती है तथा आगे की ओर धक्का देकर निकाली, जाती है। इसके प्रयोग से काम शीघ्र भी होता है।
